Bookmarks Tab: Customizable Grid of Bookmarks
Bookmarks Tab is a Chrome extension that transforms your new tab page into a personalized grid of bookmarks. Easily add bookmarks by clicking the "+" icon next to a group's title, where just a URL is required with automatic title and icon retrieval. You can even use custom image URLs for icons. Editing, deleting, and reordering bookmarks is intuitive with right-click and drag-and-drop functionalities.
For organization, adding new groups and renaming them is a breeze. The extension also allows you to export and import bookmarks as a JSON file for backup or transferring between devices. However, some known issues include occasional delays in adding bookmarks, inability to reorder groups via the UI, and SVG icons/favicons not being displayed.
